The AIM Awards Dinner, presented by BBC news personality Emily Maitlis, took place on Thursday 16 October 2008, sponsored by PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP
The AIM Awards Dinner, which recognises outstanding individuals and companies quoted on the market across a range of categories, is the blue riband AIM event of the year, providing a forum for the AIM "club" to meet and celebrate the success of the previous 12 months.

ACHIEVEMENT IN SUSTAINABILITY - TEG Group plc
BEST RESEARCH - Brewin Dolphin
INTERNATIONAL COMPANY OF THE YEAR - SQS Software Quality Systems AG
BEST NEWCOMER - Kentz Corporation Ltd
ENTREPRENEUR OF THE YEAR - Kate Bleasdale - Healthcare Locums plc
COMPANY OF THE YEAR - ASOS plc
The "Achievement in sustainability" award was introduced for the first time this year, and sponsored by PwC because of the importance PwC attaches to sustainability in all its forms.
